I have toured the Nautilus in the past and wanted to repeat that experience. One of the best free museums Ive ever been to. OctoGroton The Nautilus, the world's first nuclear-powered submarine, was towed Friday afternoon from its home at the Submarine Force Museum upriver to a pier at the Naval Submarine Base, where it will undergo an estimated 36 million preservation project. The Nautilus has been removed for renovation and is scheduled to return in the fall of 2022.
Unfortunately, the USS Nautilus is not currently located at the museum.
